Stafforce Training celebrates it's 6 month anniversary!
Stafforce Training, our Health and Safety training offering has achieved exceptional success in its first six months.
During this period, we have expanded our course offerings to encompass many different courses, to suit every business’s requirements. Our initial offerings included Managing Safely, Working Safely, Cargo Handling in Ports, First Aid at Work, and Emergency First Aid at Work. Subsequently, we introduced additional courses such as Fire Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Safety for Managers, Fire Safety Awareness, Managing Sustainably, Mental Health First Aid, and Mental Health Awareness.
All our courses are accredited by respected organisations, including IOSH, FAA, Nuco Training, and Highfields. All our courses are delivered by accredited expert trainers, ensuring the attendees receive the necessary certification to enhance their skill sets and add value to the businesses they return to.
We are a listed member of Ports Skills and Safety. Port Skills and Safety is the UK’s professional Ports health and safety membership organisation. They are dedicated to promoting continuous improvement in health and safety culture within the UK’s Port industry. By setting standards, sharing best practices, and analysing accident data, Ports Skills and Safety plays a crucial role in enhancing Port skills and career development while fostering inclusivity and awareness of Port careers.
So far this year, we have actively participated in health and safety conferences, including the recent PSS Conference held on July 4th at Chelsea Football Club, where we exhibited our offerings. Our Client Relationship Manager, Rose Heritage, and Head of Ports, Tim Platt, attended the event and found it highly informative. Distinguished speakers, including the Director of HSSE, CEO of PSS, and the Baroness of Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Aviation, Maritime and Security), shared invaluable port-centric statistics, discussed the port skill gap, and addressed the potential hazards associated with certain technologies within ports.
To date, we’ve hosted First Aid training for companies such as Safe Door and UK Bullion Ltd, Managing Safely with P&O Ferries and Peel Ports, Emergency First Aid with CWT and P&O Ferries as well as Fire Safety with CWT and in-house plant training for Seacon. With upcoming First Aid training for British Rema and Young’s Seafood as well as Cargo Handling in Ports training for Armitt Logistics. Stafforce Training also delivered Mental Health First Aid training for select members of Nicholas Associates Group.
