Stafforce Ports: Supporting Future Talent
The Stafforce Ports team recently stepped away from their usual rhythm of back‑to‑back interviews to take on something a little different and incredibly rewarding. Neil Pearson represented Stafforce Ports at Basildon Upper Academy, spending the day delivering mock interviews to Year 10 students preparing for their future careers.
Neil was genuinely inspired by the positivity, ambition and determination each student brought to their mock interview. He met a brilliant mix of young people with exciting aspirations — from future software developers and web designers to a young woman determined to become a paediatrician, and another who isn’t yet certain about her career path but knows she wants to care for others.
Neil described the experience as a real privilege and a powerful reminder of why he loves his job. Helping young people discover their strengths, build confidence and see their potential beyond the classroom is something he finds incredibly rewarding, and something Stafforce Ports is proud to support.
As part of Nicholas Associates Group, we believe that giving back to our communities isn’t just a responsibility; it’s a duty that sits at the heart of who we are. Our mission to enable people to be their best extends beyond the workplace, and we’re proud to support our teams in using their volunteering days to make a genuine difference. Opportunities like this are a powerful reminder of the impact we can have when we invest in the next generation.
