'Be a Good Egg' is back for 2024!

Every year, we like to bring Easter cheer to charities nationwide. Team members across our nationwide branches appeal to the companies we partner with to donate Easter treats, including chocolate eggs, arts & crafts, as well as vital essentials such as sanitary products for women’s shelters, as part of our Annual Easter Appeal, ‘Be A Good Egg’.

While many of us look forward to indulging during this bank holiday, it’s important to remember that not everyone is as fortunate. Easter is another day without special treats or surprises for many children and young adults in our local communities. We love running our Annual ‘Be A Good Egg’ Easter appeal, and this year, we are collecting and donating to various charities including;

WISHH, Demelza Hospice Care for Children, Magic Moments Children’s Charity, West Lothian Foodbank, The Salvation Army, Sea Shells Charity for Children & Families, Alder Hey Children’s Ward, Cumbria Infirmary, James Rennie School, St Andrew’s Hospice, Bridgwater Foodbank, York & Scarborough Teaching Hospital, and Nelson’s Journey.

Part of the reason our Easter Appeal campaign is so successful year on year is because of the generosity shown by our clients, colleagues, and workers. In addition to the children benefitting from receiving the Easter treats, the appeal also provides an opportunity for communities to come together and support a good cause. It’s a chance to show that we care about our neighbours, especially those who may be struggling.
