Danny Celebrates 1 Year with Stafforce!
Danny Marshall, Operations Manager in our Ports division, recently celebrated his one-year anniversary with Stafforce. To mark the milestone, we caught up with Danny to look back on his first year and hear about his experiences so far.
What’s been the highlight of your first year with Stafforce?
Winning the Newcomer of the Year award at our annual conference was a real standout moment. It was incredibly rewarding to see the hard work we’ve put in as a team recognised on such a big stage.
How has your role evolved since you first joined?
My role has developed quite a bit since day one. I’ve become much more operationally focused, and a big part of that has been building and strengthening high-performing teams across my areas of responsibility.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about yourself in the past year?
I’ve realised that, despite feeling like a well-rounded recruiter when I joined, there’s still so much to learn. The past 12 months have reminded me that growth comes from being open to new challenges and perspectives.
If you had to describe your first year in three words, what would they be?
Growth. Stretching. Miles. (I’ve definitely spent a lot of time on the road!)
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received since starting?
Don’t try to do it all on your own. Lean on your team — that support network makes all the difference.
