Stafforce Recruitment raises over £300 for PHASE Worldwide

The heat went up last Friday when the Stafforce Recruitment team raised over £300 for PHASE Worldwide after they walked over wood embers burning at 1,200 degrees.
The team was amongst 30 other individuals who took part in the fire walk organised by the charity.
Laura Cousins, Business Choreographer for Stafforce Recruitment says, “I am very proud of the team for taking part in this challenge. It wasn’t easy walking over burning wood but everyone supported and encouraged each other to succeed and it was all in aid of PHASE Worldwide, who we have supported for almost seven years.”
The money raised will go to improving the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the world. PHASE’s main projects support the inhabitants of remote Himalayan villages. These are communities with no access to basic services like healthcare and education. PHASE particularly aims to work with the most vulnerable within these communities: women, children, low castes, the very poor and people with disabilities. The charity was co-founded in 2006 by Nick Cragg, the Chairman of Stafforce.
