University of Lincoln - Working in partnership with Stafforce

Stafforce was delighted to be awarded the contract to supply temporary staff to the University of Lincoln, even more so because the contract had been held by a national high street brand; one of the biggest players in the commercial recruitment market

So why were Stafforce successful? Because what they offered the University was a personal touch and excellent knowledge of the local market.

Over this past year an excellent working relationship has flourished and at any one time Stafforce is supplying temporary staff, playing an important role in ensuring that the University machine runs like clockwork and maintains its high standards.

Stafforce finds and recruits the right people to work at the University in a range of commercial roles which have included HR, Finance and general administration. On top of this we also make sure that Student Union facilities are manned and that the Engine Shed is always ready to open its doors and entertain students and the local community. We recruit and supply bar staff, technical crew, box office staff and more, also making sure that wherever possible students are given the opportunity to earn money to help support their learning experience.

The University of Lincoln has over 10,000 students and employs over 1,200 staff. It was important that the University found the right recruitment partner that was able to serve their local needs and offer flexibility.

Sarah Davey, Category Manager at the University of Lincoln speaks very positively about Stafforce: “Adrian and his team work closely with HR team at the University and our experience of Stafforce is positive. They have certainly met our expectations and what really struck us about the Stafforce business is that although it is a large, well-established recruiter, it is not too corporate, the people are great and knowledge of the local area excellent.”

In addition to the traditional services that recruiters offer, the University of Lincoln has been working with Stafforce to introduce online timesheets and invoicing systems which will deliver benefits in the long-term. The University is also interested in pursuing how Stafforce can support their future initiatives.

Adrian Tams, who manages the University of Lincoln account for Stafforce Recruitment says: “Stafforce was so pleased to be awarded the University of Lincoln contract and it is a pleasure to be working with one of Lincoln’s most prestigious employers. The relationship between the University and Stafforce is going from strength to strength and we look forward to forging a long-term partnership.”

Stafforce has certainly met our expectations and what really struck us about the business is that although it is a large, well-established recruiter, it is not too corporate, the people are great and knowledge of the local area excellent.
