Our client is looking to recruit someone with operations management experience and a background in the manufacturing industry, to help drive the company forward.

As an Operations Manager and a member of the senior management team you will be responsible for overseeing the factory managing a number of senior members of staff and ensuring their departments are running seamlessly and efficiently.
Specifically, your role will involve co-ordinating improvement processes across the business, overseeing, and driving and monitoring lean manufacturing process improvements.
Responsibilities
&x2022;Responsible for material cost, plant inventory, cost reductions, quality, delivery, and employee training.
&x2022;Ensure preventative maintenance programs are in place.
&x2022;Meet monthly operating budgets.
&x2022;Maximize daily production goals.
&x2022;Support Lean Manufacturing practices.
&x2022;Lead a multi-shift operation.
&x2022;Conducts shift meeting to communicate required company and shift specific information.
&x2022;Production Planning
To be considered for this position, you must have operation management experience and a background in the manufacturing industry.
As the Operations Manager, you should also be an excellent communicator who is able to lead and inspire staff, and is confident in identifying solutions to improve processes. The ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team is also key.
