Operating Platforms

Through working in partnership with our client base and in response to their need, we have developed a number of platforms from which to deliver our temporary and permanent recruitment solutions. We are constantly developing new ways to reach clients and candidates alike including Web 2.0 and On-line access.

  • High Street Branch Network - With a network of 10 high street braches in key locations across England and Wales, our trained, friendly teams service a range of clients with small-medium temporary and permanent recruitment needs. Our dedicated consultants seek to gain an in-depth understanding of each client's needs and manages their accounts to agreed service levels.
  • On-Site Operations - We currently operate from offices within a number of our client's premises to deliver a concentrated, bespoke workforce management solution solely to them. This platform is most effective for clients with seasonally fluctuating labour demands and we set ourselves strict KPIs to ensure that our input makes a seamless transition into daily operations.
  • Dedicated Recruitment Hubs - Developed in line with the on-site model, we devised the Recruitment Hub solution for clients across multi-sites or who were unable to house us on premise. This solution offers the same uniquely concentrated service level at a more convenient location for the client with a closer proximity to a candidate pool.
  • HR Consultancy Services - In addition to the service levels offered in the on-site model, we now offer a completely consultative solution; Labour Provision, a fully managed HR & Payroll function, training and development of all staff and the implementation of lean business/manufacturing principles. See below for more details.

What Next for Stafforce Recruitment?

HR Consultancy Services:

In response to the recent and very fast evolution of the recruitment marketplace and research and development into our current offering has made us re-think the way we do things. In October 2009 we were pleased to open our first wholly-managed service site in Bradford. Built around our years of experience from the on-site model, we have extended the traditional service to offer a completely consultative approach; Labour Provision, a fully managed HR & Payroll function, training and development of all staff and the implementation of lean business/manufacturing principles. The aim of this new service is to become a fully-integrated partner of the organisation which raises efficiencies, creates cost savings, improves operational performance and overall profitability of the business.

Improving Economic Performance Programs with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council:

Our sister organisation, Nicholas Associates, has recently been awarded two contracts, funded by Yorkshire Forward, to deliver a program of support to employers in the Rotherham area (with a focus on SMEs). The programs are based on improving the workplace & general health of Rotherham employees and also improving the financial situations of both individuals and businesses by increased knowledge and access to further community support. By making improvements in both these areas, the businesses of Rotherham should see real bottom-line benefits, and employees should reap great personal gains through healthier selves and healthier finances. Quality, Compliance and Legislation

At Stafforce we pride ourselves on the knowledge and expertise we have within our teams on the most up-to-date Employment Legislation available. As a reputable labour provider, we view protecting our clients and candidates from any potential discrimination or legislative risk as a key responsibility. To ensure our teams are abreast of changes, each and every member of staff receives a refresher course on the prevention of illegal working and changes in legislation every 6 months as a minimum. We do this so you, as the end user, have peace of mind knowing that your consultant has the most up to date understanding of current employment legislation. Our stringent internal audit processes mean that the paperwork we collect is more thorough than the legal requirement. In 2006, we were featured on the BBC's Panorama Program as not just the only agency, but the only employer to spot their "Candidate's" false identification.

We provide a range of additional services to employers looking to strengthen their defences:

  • Regular Employer Seminars on Preventing Illegal Working and Legislation Updates(REC)
  • Bi-Monthly e-newsletters with legal updates
  • Employer training workshops
  • Employer audits on documentation and prevention of illegal working.

Latest Changes - The Agency Worker's Directive (AWD)

As a user of agency labour, you may or may not have heard of the Agency Worker's Directive (AWD). The AWD is due to come into force in October 2011, so with this in mind, are you aware of the impact that these changes will directly have on your business and your bottom line?

In brief, the main purpose of the AWD is to ensure the appropriate protection of temporary agency workers through the application of the principle of equal treatment. In practise, this means that after 12 weeks in a given job, an agency worker will be legally entitled to equal treatment - at least the pay, basic working and employment conditions that would apply to the worker concerned if s/he had been recruited directly by that undertaking to occupy the same job.

Stafforce Recruitment have created a comprehensive guide to the Agency Worker's Directive, which supports all employers through this period of change so that we can all protect our businesses whilst enjoying minimum impact on day-to-day labour management.
